STARTER: SELF ASSESSMENT ACTIVITY
Lesson Aims: Continue development of ideas through reviewing current work and then create a series of refined samples using your strongest techniques
Lesson Objectives (during these lesson you will):
1. Have a one to one to discuss progress
2. Highlight your strengths in order to determine what to refine during further sampling
3. Create a series of refined samples using the techniques you intend to develop for final piece
4. Review work in order to determine areas for improvement
TASKS
Begin creating content for your 4th board 'Develop'. You need to select the strongest techniques from your experimentation to take forward and further develop and refine. In class you should produce:
- 6 samples (show clear development from your experimentations, initial response & artist research and make sure you take forward the strongest elements)
- Record swatches to suggest your interests / refinement of media (yarn wraps, sellotape trappings, dye swatches etc.)

2. Create a large scale sample using the techniques you intend to use within your final piece - speak to your teacher individually to discuss your techniques and determine an appropriate size for your sample
