Lesson Aims: To learn and refine new textiles techniques
Lesson Objectives (during these lessons you will):
1. Learn a minimum of 2 new processes
2. Be able to self/peer-teach appropriately following instructions/tutorials
3. Have a teacher led demonstration for at least one technique
TASKS/TIMINGS
Learn a minimum of 2 new processes through teacher instruction or self-led exploration (you can use the laminates in class and/or the links to tutorials/instructions below)
HOMEWORK
1. Continued sampling - you should have 3-5 samples per technique. Remember REVIEW and REFINE
2. Present samples in sketchbook/on boards relating it to appropriate images/drawings/yarn wraps etc.

knit, crochet, needle weaving , weave - some interesting examples of mixed media weave - HERE, felting, felted pod
fabric manipulation tutorials, pleating, shadow folding , origami folding, layering and cut through, shibori
rust dye, shibori, natural dyeing- dyeing with red onion skins, eco dyeing, bleaching, anthotype, cyanotype, batik, ice dye
