UNIT 4: Lessons 4-6


Lesson Aims: To create a board which sets a clear 'mood' for your project by creating a series of initial responses using drawn and textile approaches 

Lesson Objectives (during these lessons you will): 
1. Have a one to one to discuss work completed so far
2. create a series of samples & studies in responses to your reading week research 

TASKS
Create your 2nd board for the project! Board 2 is all about your initial response to your chosen theme and your board must include the following: 
- 6 fabric samples (utilise skills learnt from your artist research)
- 3 photographs (selected from the images collected over reading week)
- 3 drawings - explore a range of media (ink, bleach, pencil, pen, posca pen, paint, etc - you can trace from photographs if needed) 
- Sellotape trappings & yarn wraps to suggest your interests for colour ways 

PREVIOUS STUDENT EXAMPLE BOARDS:


HOMEWORK:
1. Complete 3 further fabric samples (you will then have 6 in total) carefully review and select the strongest of your 6 samples to present on your board - if it isn't strong enough do not present it! You should have a minimum of 3 strong samples on the board
2. Complete the presentation of board 2
